How often should I bathe my dog?

While there is no exact science that will apply to every single dog, it is generally advised that you should bath your dog once every 3 months at least; although it’s not uncommon to wash your dog up to once a week, provided that you’re using a professional quality shampoo.

What is a Hydrobath?
Our Hydrobath is a non reflective, non echoing fiberglass bathtub and powerbather shower that uses a specially designed recirculating system which mixes the shampoo thoroughly through the coat. It is powerful enough to penetrate thick coats, yet gently enough to massage the delicate skin due to its variable control nozzle.

What are the benefits?

  • Therapeutic thermo-controlled heated water deeply massages the skin, muscles and hair.
  • Considerably quicker for the dog to tolerate speeding up the grooming process;
  • promotes healthier coats by removing loose dead coat and cleaning right to the skin
  • Saves water and shampoo to lessen our affect on the environment
  • It is not reflective or noisy or cold like the metal dog baths.
  • It give us consistent quality and performance each time.

What is an Ozone Jacuzzi?
An Ozone Jacuzzi is a fiberglass bath tub which is filled with water up to the shoulder of the dog. This bath allows the dog to stand comfortably in water providing hydrotherapeutic benefits and support without the pressure or noise of a shower. It is heated and has ozone pumped directly into the water creating a steady bubble bath of soothing bubbles to relax & clean your dog via chemistry rather than chemicals. This can also be used as a standard bath without bubbles for nervous dogs.

What are the benefits?

  • Standing in heated water relaxes muscles and supports joints  while bathing
  • It is quieter and more peaceful for the dog to tolerate and for younger or older dogs.
  • Ozone Hydrotherapy is a holistic SPA treatment with healing properties due to the Ozone diluted in the water.
  • Cleans via Science not chemicals. Ozone helps to oxidize and remove bacteria, mould, yeast spores, and viruses.
  • Massaging jets relax tired muscles and act as a natural pain relief for older dogs.
  • Chromotherapy lighting is also included with this bath.
